About Jaguar Caravans

Jacques Serfontein founded Jaguar in 1993. After five years building the business, he made a decisive pivot in 1998: the South African market needed a locally built, properly engineered off-road trailer, not an imported compromise. The Jaguar 4x4 trailer range was born. By 2015, customer demand had grown to the point where a full caravan range made commercial sense, and Jaguar expanded accordingly. More than 30 years on, the company still operates on the same philosophy: SABS-approved quality, custom-built to order, in small batches.
4x4 Things is a proud partner of Jaguar Caravans. Renting a Jaguar through our platform is the best way to road-test a model before you commit to buying one — and every listing is owner-verified and insured.
